English emergency services have released footage of a bungling arsonist who accidentally set fire to his backside while trying to torch a pub.
CCTV footage of the incident shows Michael Morgan, 33, cycle to the front door of The Club in Cheshire equipped with a drink bottle filled with petrol.
He then pours the accelerant through the letter slot and douses the door before igniting the blaze with a lighter.
The entrance to the pub then explodes in flames, setting Morgan's bottom alight.
Damage to the pub was minimal but the flames could have threatened the homes of the landlord and other locals who lived in the attached buildings.
Morgan was sentenced to two and a half year's jail for the August 1, 2011 blaze after pleading guilty to arson.
"People will always remember Morgan as the clown on the bike who set himself on fire, and he will have to live with that," The Club owner Steve Ball said.
"I was happy for the fire service to make the video public, because it shows the foolishness of his actions."
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, who released the video on YouTube, said they hope it will highlight the costs and damage of arson.
