Police are hunting man who held up a Whangarei dairy at gunpoint with a mask covering his face.
The lone man threatened two staff members, at the Jack St dairy in the suburb Otangarei, with a long-barrelled rifle, about 3.40pm on Saturday, police say.
He forced a man to open the till and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, before running from the store and getting into a dark coloured vehicle.
The man was wearing a blue sweatshirt with the hood up, dark pants and had a plastic mask covering his face.
Police want to hear from anyone with information.
