A 14-year-old girl has been performing as a lap dancer, but told her mother she was going to sleepovers, a British newspaper has claimed.
Undercover reporters from the Sun saw the schoolgirl performing at a UK strip club until 3am while drinking 12 bottles of vodka alcopops.
The girl, whose identity was kept secret, performed pole dances dressed in a bodice, black stockings and suspenders before stripping naked behind a translucent glass screen.
At one point she took a man in his mid-'30s into a cubicle for a "private dance".
The girl told a reporter from the newspaper at two separate times that she was either 18 or 19.
"This is only my second night but I'm a very good lap dancer," she said.
"For £20 ($43) you can come into a private booth with me and I'll dance for you."
The girl's mother was reportedly horrified when she was told of her daughter's activities.
"It's disgusting — I thought she was out staying with a friend for the night."
The club manager, Jesus Rodriguez-Casas, said the girl had told him she was 18 but had not returned to the club when he asked her for better ID.
