An Australian man will stand trial next month after he was caught allegedly trying to have sex with his landlady's great dane.
Bradley Steven Whitehead was charged with attempted bestiality after being caught at a home near Cairns, on December 12, the Cairns Post reports.
Whitehead allegedly tried to mount the dog, named Missy. He faces a maximum seven years in jail if found guilty.
The 37-year-old has also been charged with two counts of stealing and one count of possessing dangerous drugs.
He has entered no plea. The case has been adjourned until July 28.
