A British woman who blew a multi-million dollar lottery win on cocaine and fast cars has lost custody of her children after a fourth suicide attempt.
Callie Rogers, 22, also became a heavy user of notorious drug meow meow - also known as mephedrone, linked to 26 deaths in Britain.
Ms Rogers was just 16 when she famously won 1.9 million pounds ($3.9 million) in a lottery jackpot in 2003.
Now — despite vowing to get her life back on track — Ms Rogers has today revealed she was stripped of custody of her children after attempting suicide two months ago.
"I have never felt so desperate," she told News Of The World.
"Without the kids my life means nothing ... some days I can barely get out of bed I am in such a dark place.
Ms Rogers, a mother of two, was suffering from bad depression and last year revealed she had lost all her money on drugs, cars, holidays and designer clothes.
She said she woke up one day in March feeling so depressed she had an "overwhelming urge" to kill herself.
She tried to commit suicide — her fourth attempt — but was rescued by a friend and rushed to hospital.
After spending three days in hospital, Ms Rogers was told by a judge overseeing her case that she was no longer fit to car for son Kian, five, and daughter Debony, two.
She said she spiralled further out of control and began taking the meow meow to cope with the loss of the children.
The drug briefly numbed the pain but ultimately only made things worse, she said.
The children are now in the custody of their unemployed father, Nicky Lawson, who Ms Rogers continues to blame for getting her hooked on cocaine in the first place.
She is permitted to visit her children twice a week.
