A pile-up involving over 100 cars on a foggy highway in China kills seven people and injures 15.
Less than 50m visibility caused cars, trucks and buses to collide in Guizhou province, southwest of China.
State media agency Xinhua report that traffic was backed up for 20km due to fog occurring early yesterday morning.
In a separate incident, 14 children died when the vehicle in which they were travelling plunged off a road in central Hunan province.
Xinhua media reveal nine children were killed and one was missing in the accident, in Hengnan county.
Later it reported that the missing child was found dead, while four other children died after being taken to hospital. Six others were injured in the wreck.
China's roads are among the most dangerous in the world, with traffic laws widely flouted.
