Designer fashion competed for attention alongside farm equipment when the NZ National Agricultural Fieldays kicked off in Hamilton yesterday.
The 'wearable arts' garments featured in the catwalk show were all made from materials found on farms.
The rural crowd that flocked to Mystery Creek for the opening day were also treated to more traditional farming exhibits.
This is the 44th time the event has been held in New Zealand. Last year more than 117,000 visitors went through the gates.
