Photographers capture best of New Zealand

Auckland photographer Jamie Wright has won Getty Image’s Grab New Zealand photography competition.
Wright’s winning photograph, entitled “Parking Lot”, was taken at Hahei beach on The Coromandel Peninsula. Mazdak Radjainia from Auckland was the runner-up with his image taken outside the Hokianga harbour entrance.
The People’s Choice Award went to Andy Lukey, who captured powerful surf at Sumner beach.
There were almost 1600 images entered in the inaugural competition, which was designed to capture the moments that make New Zealand unique.
