Heartbreaking stories have emerged of remarkable acts of bravery carried out by victims of the Colorado cinema shooting.
At least four of those killed during the Dark Knight Rises premiere in the city of Aurora died saving the lives of their loved ones.
Twelve people died in the shooting and another 58 were wounded when 24-year-old James Holmes allegedly sprayed bullets into the crowded theatre on Friday.
