Britain is basking in the warmest weather of the year so far.
Temperatures this week hit 31 degrees celcius.
Britons did what they do best in the heat -stripped off as much as possible and cracked open a beer to cool down.
The tightly crossed fingers of Olympic organisers should remain that way, although the sunny spell's staying power increasingly suggests the opening ceremony on Friday evening should remain dry.
