Australian police make record P seizure

A record half-tonne haul of heroin and P has been found stashed in terracotta pots shipped to Australia, leading to the arrest of seven alleged members of an international drug syndicate.

Four Hong Kong nationals and three Sydney residents will face court tomorrow following a year-long operation sparked by a tip-off from the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

A joint operation between the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Customs culminated with the arrest of the men after raids in Sydney.
