The Queensland Police Service has decided to share some of the crazy situations they come across on the road in an initiative called WHAT THE? Friday.
Posting photos and captions of some of the bizarre things they come across during the week on their Facebook page, the QPS are taking a light-hearted approach to highlighting a serious road-safety message.
The QPS Facebook page - which boasts an impressive 300,000 followers - was an important tool for police during the floods and cyclones that hit the Australian state in the summer of 2010/11.
Police found a young girl in the back of this car, buried up to her neck in newspapers.
