A young gibbon and a stray cat have become unlikely pals at an animal sanctuary in the US.
The Monkey Island sanctuary in Missouri has cared for the six-month-old gibbon named APEril since she was separated from her mother, who was expected to try to harm her.
APEril now spends her time playing around with a female stray cat, Chuck, patting her head and chewing her tail.
Chuck doesn’t seem to mind though. She doesn’t even seem to notice.
