Tens of thousands of Australians rallied in inner Melbourne to mourn Jill Meagher and call for harmony and an end to violence.
The disappearance of Meagher, who was last seen walking to her home after work drinks, gripped Australia.
A search for Meagher ended in tragedy last week, when her body was discovered in a shallow grave 50km outside of Brunswick.
Adrian Ernest Bayley, 41, has been arrested for the rape and murder of Meagher.
Hundreds laid flowers, lit candles and signed a condolence book for Ms Meagher's family at the boutique where CCTV footage captured the moments before she disappeared.
