A collection of photos capturing the lives of frontline soldiers has been unveiled by the British army.
The pictures are award-winning entries from the annual Army Photographic Competition.
They were taken by amateur and professional soldier photographers in locations such as Afghanistan and at UK training exercises.
The competition aims to celebrate the role of military photographers.
