The Pride parade in Auckland yesterday has been declared a massive success.
Mayor Len Brown promised the parade will return in 2014. The event was the first of its kind since the ‘Hero’ parade held back in 2001.
Thousands of people lined the K Road and Ponsonby Road to watch the many extravagant floats go by.
