Thousands of revellers gathered on Sydney's Oxford Street to watch the annual gay and lesbian Mardi Gras parade.
Ten thousand performers on 115 individual floats took part in the parade as the festival celebrated its 35th year.
The theme for this year's parade was "Generations of Love" and many of those who took part in the first Sydney Mardi Gras in 1978 were present
Marchers entertain the crowds.
