New Zealand actress Keisha Castle-Hughes is playing a behavioural anthropologist in an action thriller called Rewind being produced for television.
The actress, nominated for an Oscar for the role she played in the movie Whale Rider, is playing Priya in the production, which also stars Jennifer Ferrin, Robbie Jones and Keon Mohajeri, deadline.com reported.
US science fiction cable network Syfy has ordered the two-hour pilot. The story involves civilian scientists who travel back in time to alter past events to avoid a future terrorist attack.
The actress is currently filming in Canada, according to recent tweets.
