A baby delivered by an emergency caesarean section after a car crash in Wellington has died.
The 28-week-old baby died on Sunday night after a crash at an intersection in the suburb of Newtown that day which injured a 40-year-old pregnant woman.
Police told the Dominion Post newspaper it was too early to say if charges would be laid, but they were talking to witnesses and hospital staff.
