Three people accused of murdering a Polish man in a park in central Rotorua have pleaded not guilty to the charge and will face a trial early next year.
Unemployed 20-year-old Simon Herewini, and two boys aged 15 and 14 who have name suppression, entered not guilty pleas through their lawyers in the High Court at Rotorua on Thursday.
Roman Skorek was found dead in Kuirau Park on January 23.
Their trial will start on February 11 and is expected to last for three weeks.
A fourth man, Rawiri James Samuel, 21, pleaded guilty to Mr Skorek's murder but has yet to be sentenced.
