Work has resumed at a construction site where a teenager was critically injured when he fell six-storeys on Monday.
The man, who has not been named and is reportedly 16 years old, was working on Auckland University of Technology's new 13-storey design and creative technologies building on Mayoral Drive when he fell about 1pm.
He remains in a critical condition in Auckland City Hospital.
His colleagues and university students witnessed the fall.
The site was shut down about 2pm on Monday and its 250 workers were sent home but work resumed on Tuesday morning, a spokesman for Fletcher Construction told NZ Newswire.
A blessing was held at the site at 10am on Tuesday morning.
The man is employed by a company contracted by Fletcher Construction to construct the AUT building.
An investigation is under way.
