A New Zealand man has been stabbed to death in a city bar in eastern Thailand, it has been reported.
Police have arrested and charged Andreas Ringvall, 40, of Sweden, with murdering Robert Hollick, 43, of New Zealand, Thai news website The Nation reports.
Mr Hollick was allegedly stabbed three times in the neck and back about 1.40am (local time) on Tuesday inside a bar in the coastal resort city of Pattaya.
Ringvall and his Thai girlfriend, Dao Pholutsa, 26, were later handed over to Thai police by local residents.
A taxi motorcyclist told police that Ringvall had an argument with Mr Hollick after Ms Pholutsa played with Mr Hollick's pet dog inside a bar.
The taxi driver said Ringvall told his girlfriend to go back to their hotel room before he attacked Mr Hollick with a knife.
