Today the MSN.co.nz network ran advertising for telecommunications company flip.co.nz on our homepage.
Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, some people browsing msn.co.nz were redirected to flip.co.nz in error.
This issue was completely outside of Flip's control and not instigated by Flip.
msn.co.nz Sales Director Daniel Robertson says, "We apologise to all our customers who have experienced this technical issue. As soon as the issue was identified we opted the Flip advertising out of showing in the affected browsers and we are now investigating the problem".
The issue has now been resolved and msn.co.nz is investigating how many people have been affected by the error.
We sincerely apologise to our users, and of course to flip.co.nz for this unfortunate technical error and hope that it hasn't spoiled your enjoyment of the MSN.co.nz network this afternoon.
