A hungry little lizard who thinks he is about to get lunch instead ends up hunting for high scores on the 'Ant Cruncher' game on his owner’s mobile phone.

Incredible footage of the bearded dragon playing a touch-screen Android phone game with its tongue is quickly becoming a viral hit.

In the clip, the pet lizard appears to be waiting eagerly for the owner to reset the game.

As ants start to move down the screen, the lizard attacks the moving targets and appears to play the game with remarkable accuracy.

At one point a moth swirls around the screen, catching the tiny reptile's eye.

But even this can't distract its incredible aim, squashing two ants right in the middle of the screen before nailing the moth.

The video was posted on 7 November and has been viewed over 220,000 times.
