A one-year-old Texas girl has walked away with minor injuries after being ejected from the back of a 4WD as it rolled over during a police pursuit on Saturday night.
Dashcam footage from a police car shows the toddler coming within inches of being crushed by the rolling car after being tossed out, KCBD reports.
The 18-month-old immediately gets back onto her feet and starts running towards the vehicle, which had landed on its wheels after the high-speed rollover.
One of the suspects then rushes out of the 4WD and picks up the baby.
Minutes before, 17-year-old Kenny Shawn Jimenez, the toddler's 16-year-old mother and two other teens allegedly robbed a young woman at a nearby carpark in the city of Lubbock.
Chelsea Betenbough, 19, initially thought Jimenez was joking when he allegedly approached her and demanded money at gunpoint.
"He said, 'I will shoot you, give me your purse'," she said.
"He was getting in the car and I said 'All that with a baby in the back seat?'
"I was shocked I saw her."
Jimenez and the mother were arrested after police found them in a woman's backyard.
The toddler was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
