US President Barack Obama was booed at a basketball camera when he refused to smooch his wife for the giant Kiss Cam screen.
The first couple were watching the Brazilian and US national teams play an exhibition game on Monday night when they became the focus of the "Jumbotron" camera's attention.
Video from the game shows them smiling and laughing uncomfortably with Michelle Obama seeming to subtly shake her head no.
The crowd weren't happy and not afraid to get vocal about it.
"At USA-Brazil basketball, @Barack Obama & @MichelleObama were just on big screen kisscam but no kiss," CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer tweeted.
Later in the game the Obamas got another chance and this time locked lips to the delight of the crowd.
