Police in the United States have released footage of bystanders stepping around a man who had just been fatally struck by a car.
The police, from Arlington County in Washington, are investigating what happened to the victim, Edgar Francisco Aguilar, and are hoping witnesses will come forward.
A traffic signal at the intersection where the accident happened had been damaged by a recent storm.
The footage was taken by a Metrobus security camera on July 1 after Mr Aguilar was struck while crossing the road.
It shows several people, including a woman with a shopping bag, walk past Mr Aguilar's body on the sidewalk while others get on the bus.
One of the people getting on the bus appears to make the sign of the cross before getting on.
Only one person called emergency services.
County police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said the people apparently did not "know if (Mr Aguilar) was alive or dead."
He said they were under no legal obligation to help.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Mr Aguilar stayed on the scene but police need the help of witnesses to reconstruct what happened.
