A traffic light was sent toppling onto a crowd at a US music festival after a rowdy punter scaled it and dislodged it by rocking back and forth.
The young man was filmed climbing the light after rain brought the Lollapalooza festival to a standstill on Saturday in Chicago.
The music fan is seen in the video throwing one hand into the air and chanting along with the crowd as he clings to the light before sliding down the post.
But as he makes his way down, the light topples into the crowd below.
YouTube user Dogstar7, who was filming the incident, told ninemsn it was lucky nobody was hurt.
"Everyone was able to get out of the way and no one was injured," he said.
"Also the guy got away in the crowd. I stayed in the area and saw no arrests."
But the punter has copped criticism over the stunt on YouTube.
"This guy was fifteen feet away from me, it was crazy watching this happen in slow motion right before my eyes - that guy is an idiot," a user wrote.
"The wonderful world of idiots," another user posted.
