A Dutch filmmaker whose Facebook page was hijacked by his teenage metal-head brother has exacted his revenge by completely re-decorating his room in the girliest way imaginable, then filming his reaction and posting it online.
Tobias Mathijsen said his 15-year-old brother "completely altered" his Facebook profile on July 4.
He vowed revenge but rather than escalate the Facebook feud he decided to take the vendetta a little closer to home.
"We decided to take the battle offline and rebuild his room into a little girl's room," Mr Mathijsen said.
The filmmaker and a team of volunteers went to great lengths to pull off the prank, painting the walls of the room pink and replacing Metallica and Jimi Hendrix posters with images of Justin Bieber and bright flowers.
Even though the room was supposed to be designed for a young girl the cheeky pranksters threw in some contraceptive pills and a vibrator for good measure.
The teenager was shocked by the radical transformation but also impressed by the effort his brother had put in to get him back.
After repeating "no" a number of times and asking himself "what is this?", the teenager conceded, "it's really well done".
Worst of all for the boy his room could remain in its girly state for some time.
"I think I'm too lazy to change this back to normal. That is the real issue."
